I bought some Italeri models including the Masterbox toy soldiers which are well made. The Italeri company made a mistake in not including your toy soldiers. In my opinion, Italeri toy soldiers are badly sculpted, yours are excellent and well made. I was very sorry. Corrado Italy!

Dearest Masterbox, on the instruction boxes you didn't put the images of the painted figures like in the old boxes. They were very useful, because I was able to learn how to paint figures well. The color chart exists even if Tamiya colors are often missing. Even if the color card exists I have to stick to the beautiful photo on the box to understand how to paint the figures. Conrad Italy.

Presumably the black guy is an askari from the Sudan Defence Force, a part of the Eighth Army. The turban is not the regulation one, but he does wear puttees. Again, he's not wearing the pre-War uniform, but that's hardly surprising.

The new Ukraine figiures are great. Im looking forward to getting hold of some. Just wondering, a while ago I thought there was talk of 1/35 Polish Cavalry 1939?
Also any thoughts of British Light Brigade Cavalry figures in 1/35 FIRST Crimean War, consisting of a mixture (or a couple of sets) of the 17th Lancers, 4th and 13th Light Dragoons, and the 8th and 11th Hussars? Just a thought. Slava Ukraine.

I just bought today hoplite no.1 and I am impressed and very pleased with quality of this miniature it will require only light trimming along moldlines here and there.
My plan is to collect whole range from this series as I love ancient history, probably will build big diorama out of them in poses you present with archer and slinger in some distance, maybe fighting for some city corner or other ancient CQB environment.
So I am looking forward for release of Persians and hoping my local model store would get them in stock.
I recommend this miniatures even for beginners as plastic is good entry for trying bigger minis and a lot is in resin which is much harder to work with.
Also pricnig is very affordable, at least from my point of view, I bought it for 46 PLN roughly equivalent to 10$
